Although we as an organisation must comply with government regulations regarding waste disposal, this is not the reason why we actively seek to ensure our services are sustainable and eco-friendly. We fully believe in the principles behind these laws. Everyone benefits through diligent recycling, from small communities to large corporations.
To us, the reasons for being environmentally conscious are simple. First of all, we all live on this planet and use its resources. Therefore, it only makes sense to take care of the place we live in, and utilise our limited resources in the most efficient manner possible. Furthermore, this is the planet that will be inherited by our children, so we have a duty to ensure that future generations have thriving environment to live in.
As a waste carrier and disposable organisation, we have a special responsibility over how our waste is disposed and recycled. We are conscious of this fact, and therefore make every effort to recycle as much of the waste that we collect as possible.
It's important that you select a waste management company that is aware of environmental, ethical and legal issues surrounding the disposal of waste products. Some organisations may be negligent, disposing of valuable scrap metals and plastics on landfills, which otherwise could have been recycled. Worse still, some may even dispose of waste in a manner which is damaging to the environment, or dangerous to plant, animal, or human life.
As a responsible waste management organisation, we take every measure to separate all waste that we process into categories, then recycle or dispose of it as appropriate. Such is our commitment to this end that currently up to 80% of all waste we process is recycled. Any waste that we cannot recycle is carefully disposed of through other means, with care given to minimise or eliminate any negative impacts on the environment.
As the owner of an organisation that produces waste, you too have a duty to ensure that you dispose of waste in a responsible manner. You must sign a duty of care note, used to specify the kind of waste held in each container. This is to keep in line with the European Waste Code (EWC). However, we will provide these free of charge.
If you provide us with exact requirements for a job prior to us arriving on site, we can offer you a much more competitive quote.
